Great book
I recently finished this book, and I found the material to be very good.Rick Joyner has done a very good job of pulling from history lessons that can be learned.Through divine revelation, he has brought truths to the present from the past that can benefit all Christians.Even if you're not looking for revival, you can learn from this book and be challenged to grow in your faith and walk with Jesus.I recommend this book highly.

A great inspirational book
Mr. Joyner is not an historian, nor claims to be.Rather, he is a pastor with a prophetic ministry.His primary function in life is to encourage and inspire Christians to live out their lives fully in Jesus Christ.The focus of his book is not the Welsh Revival, per se, but the lessons we can learn from it.If one sees this as the primary objective of the book, one can applaud Joyner for having succeeded.

An unfortunate, idealistic oversimplification of revival
Joyner writes with an air of authority but failes to properly analyze the Welsh revival of 1904/5. In his many statements and assertions, he also fails to site references and give credit to other authors. This is unfortunate since most of the primary sources on the welsh revival are out of print and difficult to locate. His conclusions are simplistic and fail to take into account the many things that went wrong during and after the Welsh revial. Joyner excells at showing his idealism in his attempt to advance revival and in so doing paves the way for the same mistakes history records to be repeated. If you are looking for a title to read on the Welsh revival, Eifion Evans' book, "The Welsh Revival of 1904" published by the Evangelical Press of Wales is a must. ... Read more

I was walking through the library and closed my eyes running my hands along the spines of books. I wanted to start reading a new series. When I stopped my hand, it stopped on "Circle of Stones". I was intrigued with the cover art and checked it out. I ended up buying both of the books. I enjoyed reading them so much and can not wait for the next ones to come out. You can't help but place yourself in some of the character's places. It holds you on the edge of your seat and really grasps your attention.

Continuing series
These are wonderful books and it is a wonderful story line. I have it from the Author that she has third and fourth written and the fifth in the works however she is waiting for publishers so please.... if you liked the first 2 goto AnnaLee's website and e-mail her agent asking when the next book will be coming out. The more feedback she gets that way the sooner we will get the next segment in the series.

This one is almost as good as Sacajewa.
Anna Lee Waldo writes very long books, and this one is no exception.There is a lot of repetitiveness for the first third of the book from Circle of Stones, but it was done from a different viewpoint.Circle of Stones was from Brenda's viewpoint, and this one is from her son Madoc's viewpoint.This book is wonderfully researched and the little introductory paragraphs at the beginning of each chapter reinforce that research has been done.Ms. Waldo builds very real fictional characters around legendary ones and actual historical facts so the book is like a very interesting history lesson.The primitive sea voyage taken by Madoc and his fellow druids is written with such description that it's easy to picture the tiny boats heading out on the vast Atlantic ocean.What an awesome and couragous feat it was for these Welshmen to undertake.The book is quite graphic as well, so potential readers should be aware of that.If you are a fan of sweeping historical fiction, you will love this book.If you like a good story masterfully told, you also will love this book.I know I did. ... The hero in popular culture
Porter is a scholar from the realm of those few who can satisfy both the academic and general audience.She is careful and thorough in her attention to all the meanings of hero yet creative in their application to the Jackson movie trliogy.It is my intention to give this book as a gift to all the Tolkein fans I know so I can gain their sincere gratitude.
